Ai Watercolor Weekend April 2, 2021

Happy Easter weekend!

I hope you like my card for the Art Impression's Watercolor Weekend. It was easy and fun to make. To make it yourself, stamp the sleeping bunny from the 5016 Mini Critter set inked in Tombow N52. Next stamp and cut out a mask for it out of post it tape. Stamp the wagon from the 4875 Garden Mini Set also inked in the N52. Ink the larger bunny from the 4874 Bunnies Set inked in 969. Use masking tape to cover the wagon top edge and stamp the watering can from the 5012 Wishing Well Mini Set inked in N52. Stamp the flower pot from the 4869 Small Container Set inked in 969. Stamp the flowers inside it from the 4868 Flower Set 2 inked in 177 and 755. Dab at them with a wet brush, then pull the color our of the lines on the pot and add 977 from the palette. Pull the color out of the lines on the watering can and then add some of the N52 from the palette. Add the N52 to the wheels and bars under the wagon. Watercolor the wagon with 291. Shade it with 565. Pull the color out of the lines of the bunny under the wagon and add a little bit of the 565 to shade it.  The cheeks and ears of the bunnies are 803. Add the 977 to the big bunny where he would be darkest. Darken their eyes and draw the whiskers with a pencil or fine black pen. Stamp the bird from the 4966 Bird Bath Set inked in 969, using a stamp positioner. Color his belly in N52 and his feathers in 969. Darken his eye and any washed out lines, if needed, with a fine black pen. Stamp the grasses from the wagon set inked in 177.  Stamp the grass from the 4051 Foliage Set 1 inked in 177 and use some of that to cover the ground in front. Then use some 565 to shade under the bunnies and wagon.  Color the sky with 526. I used a white Uni-ball Signo Gel pen to add white dots to the wagon. I used my label maker to make the Happy Easter sentiment. I cut it out using the 5061 Square Double Stitched Dies because of the Square It Up Challenge on the Ai Blog.
