Let's Celebrate

Hope you all are having or had a wonderful Independence Day weekend? I want to thank Patricia Gutuskey on YouTube for pointing me to a true red by Tombow which I picked up at Michaels, #856.  I just love it! I made this scene quite by accident. I got out the Garden Wagon stamp set just to try out my new red pen. Then, I thought, I might as well make another red, white and blue scene so I got out the umbrella from the Beach Girls set and the ball from the Beach Boys set.  I had to put something in my wagon and thought a little girl from the Beach Girls Set in a red and white polkadot bikini would be perfect.  I used the Molotow pen to make the white waves. The dots in the sand are from the Flower Set and the grasses are from the Foliage Set 3. The birds are from the My Fortress Set. The sentiment is from the Greetery. I cut each piece of paper with the A2 Die Set. I hope if you try this out,  you tag me on Facebook or Instagram so I can see it.

  1. Dot, you are more than welcome...glad you found the Tombow marker at Michael's, not all have a good selection in stock. I'm picky about red too and like a true red. The card came out beautiful. Haven't had time to paint lately, hoping to soon. Trish (Patricia) Gutuskey

  2. Adorable, as always. You make the cutest cards. Love it.
