Have you seen the new 5522 Country Village Stamp set from Ai? There are two stamps in the set and I combined them to make a slim line card. It will be fun to make this in the winter for a Christmas card.

Hello,

I made this card like the packaging on this new Art impressions 5522 Country Village Stamp Set. I used the trees and grass from the 5372 Mini Foliage Set and the fence from the 5371 Barn Set. The colors are a little bit different than the packaging but you could use whatever colors you want or have to use.

I love fishing and I love this brand new set 5523 Bait Shop from Art Impressions. The shore, the bait shop, and the boats are all included in this one set! To make this, stamp each one using Tombow pens in 565 and 969 and then stamp them off once before stamping them on your watercolor paper. Pull the color out of the lines then color the shop in with 249, N35 and 969. Use a fine tip Tombow TwinTone pen in blue for the windows. Use 565 to add the shadows. The dock is a mix of N35 and 969. The boats are colored with 969, 249, 636 and 856. The water is colored with both 526 and 565 for the shadows. Stamp the bushes from the 5372 Mini Foliage Set inked in 177 along the back. Use 249 from the palette to color in the green areas and then stamp the grass from that same set inked in 177. Stamp the dog from the 5380 Silhouettes Set inked in 969. Stamp the trees from the 5372 Mini Foliage set inked in 969 then the leaves from that set inked in 636. The sky is 526. The sentiment is from the 5136 Sentiment Set 2 inked in 636. Cut it out with the 5063 Rectangle Dies.

My youngest son Brad switched careers and just completed the EMT-B course. He will be working for one of the Ambulance companies here in Vegas. He calls himself a desert rat and loves the Southwest so this is his congratulations card using the new Art Impressions 5520 SE Village Set. There's another card below using the other village in that stamp set.

New Release from Art Impressions May 12, 2022

 Hello,

Have you seen the new 5520 SW Village Set? It's a must have! I used it along with the new 5525 SW Simple Scene to create this card. I stamped the scene first after inking it in Tombow 969 and then in 565 and stamping off first. Next, I stamped the little village inked the same way. Then  I stamped the cactus inked in 177. I pulled the color out of all the lines then added some 925, 969, 565, 947, & 177 on the palette to give the mountains, rocks, village and road some color. I mixed a lot of the colors and tried to make the right facing sides darker on all of the houses. I used 249 to darken areas of the cactus. The foliage is from the 5196 Desert Set inked in 026. The sky was colored in streaks of 555 and 569. I used the TwinTone fine point blue to darken the windows. I used both the blue and brown TwinTone fine points to  put back some of the lines that were washed out.  I used the 5062 Rounded Rectangle Dies to cut out the watercolor paper and background paper. Hope you give this a try!

May 3, 2022 Exclusive Art Impressions Stamp Set for Simon Says Stamp

Have you seen the brand new 5546 - Exclusive Ai Stamp Set available only at Simon Says Stamp? It's so cute with lots of great sentiments. I watercolored these up using Tombow Pens after stamping them in Memento London Fog ink for that no line look. The flowers are from my favorite 5475 WC Flower Set 6. That fifth bunny is from the 4874 Bunnies Set because my Mom-in-law has 5 bunnies, oops, I mean kids and I thought she would love that card for Mother's Day. The tag would be great for one of my sons or grandsons. Don't have regret by missing out of this exclusive set as it will surely sell out fast!
